I feel as though I've been wanting to learn acoustic guitar, and just started to pick up my guitar less and less often. Does anyone have experience trading in used gear at guitar center for other used/new gear? I want to pick up a decent acoustic guitar, and was wondering if I'd get my item's worth here. Well, you really can't fault Guitar Center. Lots of small independently owned guitar shops do the same thing with trade-ins. You're definitely better off posting your guitars up for sale on the forums or Craigslist or even putting them up on consignment at a local music shop.
