The SDG India Index & Dashboard 2019 -2020 tracks the progress and ranking of all Indian States and Union Territories (UTs) on 16 SDGs with qualitative assessment on SDG 17 (Partnerships). The index provides a comprehensive overview of each State and UT in terms of social, economic and environmental factors. Finally, future SDG Index reports could perhaps go a step further by including good practices that enable high-performing States/UTs to make progress on each of the goals, thus providing useful Track SDGs in India A baseline report and SDG index launched by the UN System in India and the Government of India examines the country’s social, environmental and economic status, also tracking progress made at the state and union territory level.
